Rewinding back a few days.
Saturday: New Bikes (Salsa Vaya - purchased from Freewheel Bikes)
Saturday Night: Innagural ride to Art Crank with the new bikes. Followed by a stop-ins at Whitey's & GingerHop
Sunday: Bike ride with Shawn to Triple Rock. We cut our time in half by using Franklin Ave instead of the Greenway. Ya know, I am just NOT a fan of the Greenway. Yes, there's no traffic, it's in better condition than the roads, but it's sooooooo BORING!!!
Monday: Road to Leaning Tower for a Happy Hour - then the Attic
Tuesday: First attempt at commuting... = FAIL Mistake: used google maps instead of Cyclopath. They sent me on Kenilworth to get on the Cedar Lake Trail. I'm not familiar with this area so, I ended up riding up and down Kenilworth looking for the turn-off. I finally said F it, turned around, went home, & slept.
Wednesday: 2nd attempt at commuting = success w/minor glitch (mile detour). Got hairy following Wayzata Blvd. Nevertheless... made it.
